I have had this system since May and I am still happy with my purchase, there are that many games from so many eras, there’s something for all ages and with the V2.6XL console there have been regular updates with extra games. The only issue I’ve had is what game to play next with that many to choose from. I highly recommend this system.

Superb!! This is a fantastic piece of kit for retro gaming. I had a previous system that that required an online connection and could only hold a few gigabytes of game data at a time which was a real pain in the arse meaning I had to download a few individual PSX titles to the system at a time. Lightningmodz XL2.6 Elite is the ultimate plug and play system which has tens of thousands of games for 70+ systems preloaded with no requirement to be online.. soo many games…first class!!

Had my system scince october 2023. Been upgraded several times over the last year. Great system this thing is plug and play, many of these systems claim to be but this one really is. So simple to setup, you will be gaming like its the 1980s in minutes. These guys have put in a lot of time to make this run very well and it does that. Lightmodz clearly love what they do and it shows, they are always availablr to help no question is a stupid one. The comunity is cool too always asking questions and offering advice. Highly recommended.

I have the V2.6XL AND I’m not disappointed, all the games I ever wanted and works so well , there customer service is 10/10 . I had a cupple of issues and they sorted them all out , I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OVER ANY OTHERS, will be buying more stuff in the future from them.😀

The product itself, the V2.7xl. Is truly gaming nirvana. No more endless updates, loot boxes and DLC. Back to the good ole days.
The hardware is more then capable of what is required of it. The games run the smoothest I have ever seen. In 19 years of emulation
The menus are as beautiful as the games. Visually and audibly.
And the control pad is astonishingly, solidly built.
Really can’t do Lightningmodz justice in words.

I have had the console for over a month and I absolutely love it. I feel like 10 years old all over again playing all the old games that I use to play as child and bringing back so many memories .
The new games on PS4/PS5 don’t have the same impact as the old use to have so.
The Facebook group is also great because you can ask questions about the console and any issues you might have.
Definitely recommend this console to any retro games enthusiasts
